During the camp, kids learn to design and 3D print a fully functional bionic finger that responds to their hand movements. They meticulously construct each joint of the finger and connect it to a motor, enabling precise finger movement
During the camp, students delve into electronic circuits and C language coding. They connect a sensor and motor to the microcontroller, and subsequently write C code to control finger movement
The Bionic Finger project features a sensor capable of measuring finger curl, coupled with a motor that moves the finger. Kids gain insights into sensor functionality, learning how they gather information, and they explore motor control through coding and mathematics
Throughout the camp, students encounter diverse mechanical, electronic, and coding challenges. These experiences encourage them to think critically and find solutions, ultimately fostering their confidence in problem-solving
